The upcoming Pre-Professionals Summer Academy, is aimed at students from professional dance schools in Switzerland and abroad, who are in the final stages of their dance education. This programme has been carefully designed to support and facilitate the transition from the academic dance environment to the reality of the professional world.

Over the course of five weeks, the students will gain an intensive and valuable experience by learning three different choreographic languages in a short period of time. Renowned choreographers as Marco Goecke, Maša Kolar and Filipe Portugal have been recruited to work on pieces with the students under the same conditions as in a professional company. In addition to the training and rehearsals at the Residenzzentrum tanz+, nutritional counselling and workshops are offered in the guest house in order to provide the dancers with the best possible support, including with regard to their health.

He made his choreographic debut in Portugal for a choreographic workshop with the piece ‘Anfractus’, which was the one chosen to be part of the Company's repertoire. Later, already in Zurich, he began creating pieces for the Ballet Zürich and the Junior Ballet under the direction of Heinz Spoerli and later Christian Spuck.
